Invictus has the validated capability and experience with ships operations and availability planning and execution to provide programmatic representation for the customer and other senior managers at meetings, training, special projects and working groups. Project Support Engineers
Invictus provides degreed maritime engineers and experienced ship operators to manage the planning and execution of their assigned ships in regards to technical authority. In this life cycle capacity, they technically validate the maintenance work specification against established procedures and policies, in addition to witnessing the execution phases, all to ensure the approved procedures are adhered to.
Invictus Project Support Engineers provide related ship systems technical services for the engineering determination, planning and execution of maintenance industrial availabilities for assigned Navy ships. They also identify specific technical maintenance requirements and provide recommendations for authorization or deferral based on their research and analysis.
Technical Compliance and Audits
Invictus professionals verify that all standard items, local standard items, specifications and Process Control Procedures employed in the conduct of the maintenance on critical systems are technically correct. Critical System Process Control Procedures are given additional addition due to the criticality to repair success. Invictus personnel reviews and evaluates engineering aspects of the Quality Management Program of various organizations whereby ensuring the proposed maintenance on critical systems is in place and adequate for work being performed as well as maintaining a sound technical oversight of the QMP. Furthermore Invictus provides analytic and evaluation services, problem resolution and developed solutions to problems related to program/project processes and procedures.
Life Cycle Management
Invictus provides subject matter experts with the unique capability to assess and recommend corrective measures to maintain the operational material conditions of both gas turbine main and generator uptakes and exhaust systems.
Infrared and Impressed Current Cathodic Protection Surveys & Technical Systems Support
Invictus professionals are certified to accomplish infrared (IR) surveys identifying overheating conditions of wiring and connections within switchboards, motor controllers and other electrical equipment. Upon completion of these surveys, a report is developed and provided documenting the results, conclusions and recommendations for repair considerations. Local and long-distance technical support is provided, establishing necessary communications with a ship’s force representatives in order to get clear and complete information about systems deficiencies, conduct necessary investigations, research and provide technical resolution recommendations and supporting information related to the cause, and the required recommended corrective actions.

Main Propulsion Reduction Gear Root Cause Failure Analysis and Corrective Measures
Invictus provides Subject Matter Experts to assess and recommend corrective actions for Main Reduction Gear Bearing failures. Our SMEs provide onsite technical expertise to witness the repair efforts and provide our USCG customer with a final detail report regarding failure, corrective actions taken and recommendations to prevent future failures. These efforts are accomplished in homeport as well as deployed areas.
